The Concept Picture Light story started in the mid 1990’s, when the founder purchased a framed picture of Behren’s “Bellagio Promenade”. Upon hanging it up at home, he realized that the location where it was needed was a bit dark and some light would really make it pop.
He set out to buy a “picture light” but only came across hardwired lights that would require a lot of work and wall damage to install. He looked for a cordless option and discovery the product he desired didn’t exist. He decided that he would make the perfect picture light himself.
That first product accomplished the goal—it looked sleek, was easy to install and use, provided ample light and provided many hours of battery life. Over the years we have made enhancements to the picture light to ensure customers are always satisfied. Our goal is to make sure everyone can happily and proudly showcase their artwork around their house!
